During my Advanced Media Design semester I undertook a small project about making a new campaign for a brand of my choosing. The goal of this project was to make Yeezys appealing to people aged 65 and older. These shoes are primarily popular among young people, but we aim to make them more accessible to the older generation. After some research we had the idea to make brochures which would go in magazines that people of that age would read.
The interviewees mentioned that they didn’t find the QR code useful, as they rarely use it themselves. The humorous posters were generally well-received, though some felt that a few were a bit too extreme in tone or content. This provides us with valuable insights into finding the right balance between creativity and accessibility for this target audience. During this project I learned to push the boundaries of design and make unconventional products.
